WORLD VISION
THE WATERCOLOUR PROJECT
663 million people worldwide live without access to clean water.
With our help, 20 children from a village in Gashoro, Rwanda did something about it.
Using water from their villages newly built well, they created watercolour paintings.
These depicted their future dreams and aspirations – now that they had access to clean drinking water.
The children then donated their paintings, which were then auctioned off at The Lumus Art Gallery in Toronto. The proceeds raised enough money to built an entirely new well for a neighbouring village.
